SOMERSET – Albertina “Tina” Therrien, age 92, a longtime resident of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Therrien, the daughter of the late Antone and Maria (da Luz) Perry and the sister of the late Antone, Joseph, and Louis Perry.
Tina was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Frett (husband Frank) and her grandson Kyle Frett. She is survived by her children Beverly Dallaire (husband Paul) of LaGrange KY, Darlene Fisher (husband Ken) of Somerset MA, Diane Charette (husband James) of Tiverton RI, and Richard Therrien (wife Betsy) of Owings MD. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren Jessica Frett, Amy Lopez, Jonathan Dallaire, Stephanie Moyes, Michael Fisher, Aaron Fisher, Jason Charette, Matthew Charette, Nathaniel Therrien, Connor Therrien, and Marissa Therrien, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Prior to retiring, Tina worked for Motorola Corporation as an Electronics Instructor. During her retirement, she volunteered for twenty years at St. Patrick’s Church and Cemetery in Somerset. Tina was awarded the Marian Medal in recognition of her service to St. Patrick's church and her selfless contributions to the community. Tina enjoyed crocheting, politics, sewing, and reading. She was an avid baseball fan and loved the Boston Red Sox!
Tina’s funeral will take place from the Manual Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, April 8th here for family at 9:00 A.M, followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Somerset at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
