James J. Kubler, 64, died at the Emerald Rehabilitation & Alzheimer’s Care Center in Norwood on Friday, March 24 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Rita E. (McLaughlin) Kubler of Stoughton and the late Joseph T. Kubler. Born in Boston, he was educated in Stoughton Schools. He was a resident of Stoughton for 60 years. Mr. Kubler was a maintenance worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 32 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Stoughton.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Kubler is survived by his sister, Joan M. Haley and her husband Daniel of Mansfield. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM.
