Giuseppe Pellegrino, 90, of Village Avenue, Cranston, passed away in the Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. He was the husband of the late Irma (Franco) Pellegrino.
Born in Caserta, Italy, a son of the late Federico and Iolanda (Sorvillol) Pellegrino. He had lived in Cranston for 50 years previously living in Johnston.
Giuseppe was a self employed mechanic.
He leaves his son Federico Pellegrino and his wife Deborah of Cranston and his daughter, Yolanda Condon and her husband William of Cranston. He was the grandfather of Kristina Fogarty, Marisa Pellegrino, Alexis Coccoli, Nicholas Coccoli and Amanda Pellegrino. He was the great-grandfather of Jakson Peck. He was the brother of Carmello Pellegrino and his wife Bianca of Johnston, Lydia Giorgi of Rome, Italy, Tony Pellegrino and his wife Nancy of Rome, Italy, Vincenzo Pellegrino of Rome, Italy, Gina Aturtoro of Italy and Maria Pellegrino of Cranston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday March 19th at 11am in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
