Joseph H. Quinlan of Mineral Spring Gardens, North Providence, a retired printer, died Thursday, March 23 at the Veterans Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved companion of Lillian Tuttle.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Henry M & Grace (Crothers) Quinlan and Margaret (Callahan) Quinlan.
Mr. Quinlan was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had been a printer for Livermore Knight and R.W. Goff before retiring in the mid 1970’s and was a communicant of Mary Mother of Mankind Church in North Providence.
He is survived by nephews, Frank Ferguson of Greenville, Raymond Quinlan of Worcester, niece Barbara Ryan of New York, and the Leavitt Family of Rehoboth, MA and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Raymond Quinlan and Marguerite M. Ferguson.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial with military honors will be in n Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation Sunday 5-7pm.
