Raymond J. MacDonald, 70, of Fall River, formerly of Westport, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Kimwell Nursing Home in Fall River. Born in Fall River, son of the late Arthur E. and Pauline L. (Burhyte) MacDonald, he had lived in Westport for most of his life. Prior to retirement, he worked at the United States Naval Base in Newport, RI. The family would like to extent a thank you to all who provided compassionate care for Raymond during his illness. Special thanks and appreciation to Ray's friend and advocate, Douglas Barresi.
Survivors include his brother Neil A. Macdonald and his wife Patricia of Newton, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
