Anita was born on August 28, 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Mission Hill, Massachusetts. Anita was born to her Puerto Rican mother, Maria Bermudez and her Puerto Rican father, Alex Cintron. Anita was incredibly bright and received her medical assistant certificate at Bryman Institute which later led to her job as a Massachusetts Health Connecter Enrollment Specialist. Anita was also a phenomenal mother to her daughter, Emani Gonzalez and her son Julian Chamizo.
Anita was a dance enthusiast who would dance to anything with everyone as it was something she enjoyed thoroughly. Anita was also the Red Sox’s number one fan who cheered on her team through win or loss, sunshine or pouring rain. Anita also loved the holidays. Her favorite was Halloween, and she sure knew how to throw a party to celebrate every occasion as it meant she could be with those she loved. Anita also loved a beautiful sunny day followed with a barbeque while splashing around in the water. Anita always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends while never failing to turn everything she touched into gold.
Not only was Anita a mother, but she was also a sister. Anita’s death follows that of her older sister Nancy Cedeño. She is survived by her children Emani and Julian, her sister Gloria Cedeño, her brother Oscar Cedeño, her mother Maria, her father Alex, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and her four nieces, and seven nephews.
Anita was a woman of many characteristics who loved not only her family but her friends fiercely. Anita was a grand woman who gave everyone everything she could and in the end, she won and is now finally able to rest.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 12-2PM. Interment services will be private.
