SOMERSET… Anthony Botelho, 57, of Somerset passed away March 28, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joao and Maria (Moniz) Botelho and foster son of Raymond and Mary Jane (Medeiros) Desmarais of Fall River. He had lived most of his life in Fall River.
Mr. Botelho was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church, worked with People Incorporated in Fall River and had enjoyed reading.
Along with his foster parents, survivors include his sisters: Mary Gauvin of Fall River, Caroline Kalif of Fall River and Joanne Creamer of Taunton; his brothers: Daniel Botelho of Fall River and John Botelho of Taunton; many nieces and nephews including Rev. Maurice Gauvin. He was the brother of the late Elaine Santos, John, John and Thomas Botelho.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 10:45 AM from South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden Street Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9 – 10:45 AM, prior to the funeral.
