FALL RIVER – Emmanuel D. Arruda, age 67 of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Julieta (Barbosa) Arruda. Born in Terceira, Azores, Emmanuel was the son of the late Manuel & Maria (Da Costa) Arruda.
Emmanuel had served in military when he resided in the Azores. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings: Margaret Da Costa (husband Joe) of Swansea, Lucy Grilo (husband Walter) of Canada, the late Antonio Arruda (wife Carmen) of Fall River, Isabel Martins (Ermando) of Somerset, Ana Sousa (husband Valter) of Swansea, Carlos Arruda (wife Lucy) of Webster, MA, and Maria Medeiros (partner Melissa Owsney) of Fall River; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Emmanuel’s funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Manual Rogers Funeral Home, Fall River.
