Mary L. (Spooner) Keogh, a resident of Andover and Hingham and beloved wife of the late John R. Keogh, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was 94 years old.
She was born April 18, 1926 to Charles and Rose Spooner in New Britain, CT. She was married to John R. (Jack) Keogh for 49 years, until his death in 1998. She was also predeceased by her sister Margaret Bazzoni, brother James Spooner, and son Kevin J. Keogh. Her joy in life was her family: daughters Louise Keogh (Robert Sarnoff) of La Jolla, CA, Elissa Keogh of San Diego, CA, and Mary R. Keogh (Brewster LaMacchia) of Andover, MA, and son John C. Keogh (Lay Keong Tan) of Boston, MA. She also leaves 5 beloved granddaughters: Carolyn S. Petersen, Julia Sarnoff, and Sarah, Amanda, and Elizabeth La Macchia.
She was a sweet and gentle person who always responded to a kindness with “you’ll get your reward in Heaven”. We hope you are enjoying your rewards, Mom. Your memory will always make us smile.
