Obituary

BOSTON – Jesse Wayne Babb, age 53, of Fall River, passed away after battling a long illness on March 15, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Perreira) Babb. Born in Fort Sill, OK, he was the son of the late Jackie and Brumhilde (Engelbrecht) Babb. He was also a son to his beloved mother-in-law Philomena (Rego) Perreira. Jesse was an avid hunter, loved nature, fishing and riding his dirt bikes. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. For many years he worked as a meat cutter for BJs Wholesale Club and Seabras Market. He also worked for DCR as a park maintenance worker.

Along with his wife he is survived by his sons Jacob Matthew Babb and Brandon Michael Babb (fiancé Kylee), all of Fall River; siblings Linda Babb Webster (husband Donald) of Myrtle Beach, NC., Stanley Babb (wife Maureen) of Enon, OH., Wilma (Babb) Shoemaker (fiancé Greg) of Jewett, IL., James Babb of Cheyenne, WY., Glenn Babb (wife Diana) of Duke, MO., Richard Babb of St. Robert, MO. And Robert Babb (wife June) of Kansas City, MO; twin grandsons Wyatt and Ezra Babb; in-laws Lori Peixoto and her husband Raymond of Fall River and Edward Perreira of Sleepy Hollow, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Nellie Babb.

Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, March 30th from 4-6 P.M. with a service to immediately follow.
