Danny Keith Marshall, 56, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Fitzgerald Church of God in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service in the sanctuary on Saturday.
Mr. Marshall was born December 18, 1964, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Donald & Mittie Reese Marshall. He was a graduate of Worth County High School in Sylvester and was a certified electrician. He worked as electrical maintenance manager for Protein Plus in Fitzgerald. Mr. Marshall had a true servant’s heart and was an amazing person. He loved being outdoors, whether camping or fishing. He adored children of all ages and was a real people person. He was a member of Fitzgerald Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Collins Marshall of Fitzgerald; children: Shannon Brown & Joseph of Fitzgerald, Danny Keith Marshall, Jr. & Annie of Augusta, and Laura Mitchell & Zack of Pensacola, Florida; 5 grandchildren: two boys and two girls that Shannon & Joseph are in the process of adopting and Darcie Jane Mitchell; siblings and their spouses: Wendell Marshall & Flo of Bushnell, Florida, Pam Carter & Jimmy of Fitzgerald, Peggy Harper & Terry of Rebecca, Curtis Marshall of Doerun, and Cireetha McDonald of Doles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Donald Gene Marshall, Robin Warren, and Mickey Marshall.
