Louis A. Carbone, Jr., lifelong resident of Medford, passed away on Sunday, March 14th. He was 34. Born in Malden and raised in Medford. He was the cherished son of Louis A. and Karen (Campbell) Carbone.
Louis was a caring, soft spoken, compassionate young man. A natural people person Louis made friends no matter where he was. He treated everyone with kindness and was liked and loved by all.
Louis was a proud member of the 26th Yankee Infantry Division WWII Re-enactors and the Big Red One Living History Organization. He took part in many Civil War, Revolutionary War and WWII re-enactments throughout the country. Louis traveled to the battlefield of Gettysburg and Arlington Cemetery; just to name a few. He established many friendships throughout his travels.
An avid collector of military memorabilia- especially of WWII- Louis’s dream was to open up his own military antique shop. When Louis was not participating in re-enactments he enjoyed helping his Dad work on projects on their family’s vacation home. Louis was an amazing son, awesome brother, devoted uncle and dedicated friend. He will be missed by all.
Louis was the dear brother of Jessica and Nicole Carbone. He was the loving uncle and godfather of Tyson Cezario, and was the caring nephew of Anthony Carbone and his wife Jasmine, Kim Campbell and her wife Deb Cahoon, and the late John C. Carbone. Louis was the loving grandson of the late John and Nina (Foti) Carbone and is survived by many loving friends and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, March 20th at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Friday from 4 - 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Wood End Cemetery, Reading. Please follow social distancing protocols while attending.
