Victoria Mary Mack, age 77, passed away on her birthday March 8, 2021. Victoria was born and raised in Brockton, MA. At age 15 she moved to Abington, and was a graduate of Abington High School, Class of 1962. She was also a graduate of Chandler School for Women in Boston and Brockton Beauty Academy. She was an administrative assistant to the president of Schmid Brothers, a country craft and international design company home based in Randolph, MA for several years before retiring.
Victoria lived a fulfilling family and friend oriented life. She enjoyed making her family happy and hosted many holiday parties full of love and laughter. She loved animals and her cat Ashley gave her great happiness for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, poetry, music, politics, fashion and travel throughout her life. Victoria had many fond memories of summers at the family’s beach home in Green Harbor, MA winter vacations in N. Palm Beach and Jupiter Island, FL and ski country weekends in North Conway, NH.
Victoria was the beloved daughter to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Coman) Mack, the devoted sister of Julie Bagdon and her husband Jeffrey of Brockton, Eleanor Mack of Mashpee, and Laura Pratt Ryder of Brockton. She was the loving aunt to Lee-Ann McSheffrey and her late husband Bryan of Bridgewater, Debi Mack and her partner Kurt Palluccio of Mashpee, and both aunt and godmother to Derek Pratt and his wife Heather of Pembroke. Victoria is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Tanah, Madeline, Aidan, Caleb, Rowan and Chloe; her uncle Donald Mack of Brockton and many cousins. She is predeceased by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Victoria will be sadly missed for her warm soul, kindness, honesty, loyalty and concern for others. Due to the pandemic, a memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date this coming summer 2021.
