Patsy (Poole) Hodson, 79, Anderson, was called home on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
A mother of three, Greg (Judy) Thompson, Todd Thompson, and Jill (Mike) Hensley and grandmother of four beautiful granddaughters, Hiedi Beaty, Brittany (Bronsen) Smith, Valarie (Trevor) Fleck and Jaye Hensley; three cherished great-grand daughters, Addison, Meira, and Iva; Milo Fleck, her Lone Star Texan and newest great grandchild and first born boy in the family after 54 years; nephew like a grandson, Cody Dennis; step-son, Rick (Cindy) Hodson; step-grandson, Jason. She is the sister of Ruby Painter, Marjorie Berdusco, Eddie (Karen) Poole, Clyde (Darlene) Poole, Essie Poole, Rick Poole and Sister-in-law, Jeanette Poole. Special lifelong friends Jim and Sandy Ryan.
Patsy worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Anthony Fisher, DDS for most of her career. As her family’s matriarch, she enjoyed event planning for family, finding any excuse to host a gathering to make loved ones feel special, cooking, shopping with Sandy, decorating and sharing her opinions and beliefs. She was her family’s strongest and best advocate as she supported them through the best and worst of times. She stood by them.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Obie and Goldie Poole, her husband of 32 years, Jim Hodson, Sisters – Irene Poole, Janie Poole, Ruth Ivy and brother, Teddy Poole.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Services is facilitating Graveside services at Mechanicsburg Cemetery, in Mechanicsburg, IN on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:00 with a celebration of life immediately following. (To be announced.)
