Janie Ruth Roberson, 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. David Biggers officiating.
Mrs. Roberson was born December 16, 1945, in McRae, Georgia, to the late Douglas & Josie Mae Walden Richards. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clyde Roberson of Fitzgerald; children: Diane & Preston Walker of Fitzgerald, Regina & Tony Cox of South Carolina, Dan & Dee Roberson of Louisiana, Paul & Mary Roberson of Leesburg, Donna Roberson of Washington and Chris Roberson of Douglas; her grandson that she raised, Jacob Haynes as well as 23 other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Sue Self of Locust Grove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Keith Haynes and Charles Pearson.
