WESTON: Carol Ann (Fitzpatrick) Azadian, 86, died peacefully on March 10, 2021 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital following a declining period of health.
She was born in Waltham on June 20, 1934 the daughter of the late Walter Fitzpatrick and Marion M. (Mifflin) Fitzpatrick.
Carol was the beloved wife of Harry Y. Azadian, MD of Weston. Devoted mother of Jeffrey D. Azadian and his wife Kathleen S Azadian of Essex, Todd A Azadian and his wife Victoria J. Azadian of Bristol, ME and the late Lynn A. Azadian Kayne who died in 2001. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Azadian of Essex, Daniel Kayne of Miami, FL, Megan Azadian of Essex, Zachary Azadian of New York City, NY, Jayne Wixtead of Washington, D.C. and Harris Azadian of Westport, CT. She is also survived by her brother, Walter N. Fitzpatrick and his wife Arlene Fitzpatrick of Austin, TX.
Carol spent her formative years in Billerica and has been a Weston resident for over 50 years. She was a graduate of Billerica High School and had a career as a Legal Secretary in the Boston area.
She was an accomplished gardener and her home reflected her talents in the gardens she created. She also enjoyed calligraphy, refurbishing antique furniture and was extremely artistic designing many stained glass pieces of art.
She was member of the Weston Garden Club and an active volunteer with the Women’s Community League of Weston. Carol will be fondly remembered by all who knew her and the talents that she shared with her family and friends.
Private family services were held on March 13, 2021 and she was interred in the family lot in Linwood Cemetery in Weston.
