It is with great sadness that the family of Robert J. Maldonado Sr. announce his sudden passing on March 1st, 2021 at the age of 69.
Bob or Bobby as his friends and family fondly remember him was born in Oxnard, Ca on January 19th. Being 1 of 9 children there was a vibrant childhood home, with constant loving relatives. In every home he lived in from California to Maryland and back he kept an open door for his famous Menudo, and Barbacoa. Robert was in the trucking industry, and loved being on the open road. He also found a passion in mechanics; he loved parties, helping others, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends. He will be forever missed by his Mother Josie. His children- Jacqueline, Robert Jr, Victoria Morales Maldonado, Belinda Garcia, Rebecca Garcia, Robert John and Katrina. His grandchildren- Freddy, Vanessa, Marc, Robert Jr I, Nina, Megan, Duke, Elias, Ariah, Angel, Gabriel, David (PJ), Shahalle, Crystal, Nayeli, Alexa, Elia, and Hendrix. Plus 8 beautiful Great grand children. He is survived by his siblings, as well as Aunt, Uncles and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ignacio Maldonado and beloved brother, Tudy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 13th at Victory Outreach, 2875 Elba St, Ventura at 11am. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION, Ventura.
