SOMERSET – Joseph Edward Miranda, age 79 of Somerset, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, Joseph was the son of the late James & Mary Miranda and the beloved husband of Doris (Garcia) Miranda for 60 yrs.
Prior to retiring, Joseph worked for many years as a Sales Associate for Crossroads Motorcoaches in Raynham. Previously, Joseph worked for 26 yrs. at Pilgrim Casket Co. of Fall River. He was also a proud member of the (Over The Hill Gang).
In addition to his wife Doris, survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Miranda Platt of Somerset, and Joseph Miranda Jr. of Somerset; his grandson, Joshua W. Platt (wife Monique); and his great grandson, Quentin Joshua Platt; nieces & nephews. Joseph was also the brother of the late Mary Alice Perreira, Manuel Miranda, and Gary Miranda.
