In the mid-1950s Lucie lived and worked in Dallas, Texas and then in Richmond, Virginia where she worked for Defense General Supply Center into the late 1950s and early 1960s before returning to Massachusetts. When Lucie’s Grand Nephews and Grand Niece were born, they became a huge part of her life also and the tradition of long Summer beach days continued as she took them to Hampton Beach often.
In 2018, Lucie moved to Billerica, Massachusetts to be next to her Nephew John and his family where she spent the rest of her days seeing her family every day.
