FALL RIVER – Jordan Andrade, age 84, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at RI Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Marie Joyce (Tavares) Andrade for 57 yrs. and the son of the late Manuel & Herminia (Correia) Andrade.
In addition to his beloved wife Joyce, survivors include his two sons, Brian C. Andrade (wife Allison) of Fall River and Kevin J. Andrade of Kingsport, TN; his sister, Alice A. Garcia of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren, Sidney, Samantha, Kyle, Keri-Ann, & Ashley Andrade; three great-grandchildren, Owen & Evan Andrade, and Skyla Pimental; many nieces & nephews. Jordan was also the brother of the late Armond Andrade, Mary A. Travis, John Andrade, and Manuel (Mack) Andrade Jr.
Jordan was a 1954 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring, Jordan worked for the Fall River D.P.W. as a Sanitation Engineer. He also was an avid Antique Car Enthusiast and a proud member of the Down Shifters Car Club.
Services for Jordan will take place from the Manual Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, March 12th here at 10:00 A.M. followed by Committal Prayer with Military Honors in Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
