Traci Zani Szwyd 40, of Lakeville, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at home on March 8 surrounded by her husband John, daughter Lily, parents and sister after a year-long battle with Brain Cancer.
Born in Brockton, daughter of Edward and Terri (Davenport) Zani, she was raised in East Bridgewater and went on to earn her Nursing Degree. She worked for South Shore NeuroSpine in South Weymouth for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, adventurous cuisine, loved tropical vacations, was an avid Patriots fan (she was born on SuperBowl Sunday) and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, John Szwyd Jr. of 15 years and their young daughter, Lily. Her parents, her sister Kelly Clark and husband Joshua of Taunton, maternal grandmother Meredith Blaney of Holbrook, her in-laws John and Deborah Szwyd of Murphy, North Carolina, several cousins, aunts and uncles, she was predeceased by her paternal grandparents John Zani and Rita Zani Morris. Also, many friends, neighbors and coworkers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday March 11 from 4-7 pm in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. All other services are private.
