Susan L. Bratton-of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, March 7th, 2021. Beloved mother of Paul Bratton and his late wife Michela of Medford and Lee Baldasaro and her husband Paul of Billerica. Loving companion of Michael Baldasaro of Acton. Former spouse and dear friend of Paul Bratton. Loving grandmother of Bryce Bratton and Ryan Baldasaro. Beloved daughter of the late Augustine and Leona Mantini.
Susan, affectionately known as Sue to many, was raised in Somerville and took immense pride in her Somerville roots. She is a graduate of Somerville High School and received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Boston College. For over 20 years, Susan was a dedicated paraprofessional for the city of Medford, where she touched many students, parents, and faculties lives. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Sue was a lover of all animals and provided a great home to her fur children. Since she was a young girl, her happy place has always been Hampton Beach, somewhere she visited every year with her family and friends. There is no doubt her greatest joy’s in life were her children and two grandsons, whom she loved beyond measure.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden, on Thursday, March 11th, from 4-7 PM. Social distancing protocols are to be followed.
