Rameau Joseph, of Randolph, Ma., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 69 on March 4, 2021 at Boston Medical Center. Prior to moving to Boston in 1981, Rameau was born in Petit-Ville, Haiti on March 17, 1951. He was the son of Luc Joseph and Melanie Pierre. Rameau was a very hard- working and dedicated man. He started his career right after High School as a Leopa ( military escort to the President in Haiti) for five years before relocating to the United States. He worked full time at North Hill Retirement Community for over 22 years until he was diagnosed in late January 2021.
While not at work, Rameau enjoyed playing dominoes, discussing politics in Haiti, watching soccer, and enjoying spending time with his family and friends. The greatest family memory was our annual trips to the Charles River to watch the fireworks. We would often arrive really early, lay out our blankets, have a picnic, and of course, dad's favorite past time; word search puzzles. Although he is no longer with us in his physical form, he has left a legacy of his determination and diligence with all of us. The ways he touched our lives will remain, and we ask all of you to keep those memories alive by sharing them with one another.
Rameau leaves behind to cherish his loving memory: a beloved wife, of Rhenane (Saint-Previl) Joseph, for over thirty years; his children Shirley Joseph, Stephanie Joseph, Kevin Joseph, Jhenane Joseph and his grandchildren, Jonathan Pierre, Marcus Pierre, Noah Pierre, and Jhelena Joseph Civil.
