Carl A. Seagren
TEWKSBURY: Carl A. Seagren, age 77, a resident of Tewksbury for 44 years, formerly of Woburn and Winchester, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of Maria “Carmen” (Camilo) Seagren, who passed away on November 4, 2008.
Born in Woburn on April 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Irving C. Seagren and the late Evelyn (Pearson) Seagren.
Carl graduated from Woburn High School in 1960, and attended Northeastern University where he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
Prior to his retirement in 2005, he was employed as the Associate Director of Housing Operations for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Carl previously worked at Lincoln Labs in Lexington.
Carl was an avid Boston sports and Tewksbury High School sports fan, and enjoyed putting around his yard and walking his dog Max around his neighborhood in Tewksbury.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew C. Seagren and his wife Kristy (Zajac) of Huntersville, NC, and Michael E. Seagren of N. Andover; four grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Mason and Morgan Seagren all of Huntersville, NC; one sister, Eleanor C. Forsberg of Andover; also many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Carl was the brother of the late Diane Anderson of Maine.
Calling hours in adherence to State Covid-19 guidelines are Thursday, March 11, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Due to gathering limitations, funeral services and burial will be held privately.
