Berta N. (Robinson) Kahn 80, of Norfolk, passed away peacefully, Thursday March 4, 2021 at All American Assisted Living at Wrentham, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Morton H. Kahn, who died in 2020.
Born July 31, 1940 in Brooklyn , New York the eldest child of the late Charles and Dorothy Robinson, she was a former resident of Uxbridge, MA, New Jersey and Long Island, New York before moving to Norfolk.
She was raised on Long Island and received his bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College. Berta worked as a teacher, housewife and bookkeeper. She enjoyed her needlework, home decorating, going to the theater, out to dinner with friends and spending time with her family.
Berta is survived by her two brothers Arthur Robinson and wife Phyllis of Illinois, Phillip Robinson and wife Ingrid of Virginia, children, Brenda S. Goodman and her husband Stanley of Norfolk and Mitchell B. “Mitch” Kahn and his wife Ann of New Jersey.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Samuel, Sarah and Aren Kahn.
Berta's services and burial at Mt. Ararat Cemetery, in New York will be held at a later date.
