FALL RIVER – Timothy “Tim” Marques, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2021 at home. Born in Fall River, he was the beloved son of Joseph and Laura (Correia) Marques. Tim was currently employed at Thrive Behavioral Health “Tiverton House”, where he loved working as a case manager. He was inducted into the Honor Society in 2017 and was a volunteer at Blessed Trinity Church. He also was a successful member of AA for 8 years, where he touched so many lives. Tim enjoyed art, photography, the beach, shopping, cooking, music and traveling. Above all, Tim loved and cherished being a dad to his daughter Amelia, who he referred to as “his world”.
Along with his parents and daughter, Tim is survived by his siblings Bethany Cabral (husband Emanuel) of Dighton, MA and Steve Marques (wife Leslie) of Fall River, MA; nieces and nephew Bianca Cabral, Benjamin Cabral and Abbigail Marques; former wife Kimberly (Arruda) Gonzalez and several other nieces and nephews they shared together. Tim also leaves many special friends who he held close to his heart.
A visitation for Timothy will be held on Tuesday, March 9th from 7:30-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in Blessed Trinity Church, Fall River at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. We ask for your patience as you may need to wait to come in to pay your respects.
