WORCESTER___Dorothy J. (Erickson) Aylward, 65 of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Her husband Lee Aylward died in 1999. She is survived by her devoted children, Lee Aylward II and Crystal Aylward Russel, both of Worcester; grandchildren, Alyssa Betancourt, Andrew Aylward, Trevor Russell and Wyatt Aylward; brother, Michael Erickson; sisters, Nancy Jewell, Rose Marchand, Cynthia Erickson and Gloria Erickson; nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Jean and David Rivenburgh. She was born a daughter of the late Rudy and Jeanette (Comeau) Erickson.
A lifelong Worcester resident, she was educated in the Worcester schools. She was a homemaker who centered her life around her children and grandchildren. A strong willed woman, her strength came from her love of her family and her grandchildren.
