Obituary

Patsy Carrico Howell was born Wednesday, July 4, 1934 at 11:00 am, in Lebanon, in Marion County, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by mother: Nannie E. Wren Bailey; brother: Arthur (Sonny) B. Bowles, Jr; sisters: Audrey B. Bowles Eady and N. Jewell Bowles Harvey; and husband: Meadie M. Howell, Jr.

She was a sweet and lovely soul. She believe in the Holy Trinity, and loved all God’s creatures, great and small. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley’s gospel music and movies. She is survived by nieces: Darlene Meeks Harvey Popok of Huntsville, AL; Dawn E. Eady Jackson and Tanya E. Eady Crawford, both of Mobile, AL; and Tina M. Bowles Adams, of Valdosta, GA; and by nephews: James (Buddy) Eady Jr of Laurel, MS; Thomas D. Eady of Gainesville, FL; Stacey D. Eady of Ocean Springs, MS; Arthur (Art) B. Bowles III, Terry E. Bowles Sr, Shawn G. Bowles, John H. Bowles, all of Valdosta, GA; Wyatt D. Harvey Jr of Plymouth, NC; and by and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by sister in law Dorothy Wiggins Bowles, of Valdosta, GA; brother in law Wyatt D. Harvey Sr, of Plymouth, NC; and her dearest friend and Sister in Christ, Jeanette Oliver, and loyal friend and Angel of Mercy, Janet Muse, both of Ocilla, GA.

Graveside service will be held at Old Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunday, March 7, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Jay Roberson officiating.
