Janie E. Gilbert, 71, of Anderson died February 12, 2021, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on August 6, 1949, in Anderson, the daughter of Earl and Betty Randolph. She was employed as a sales market analyst and enjoyed gardening, genealogy and spending time with her family.
Gregory Stephen Gilbert, 67, of Anderson, died February 24, 2021 at home in Anderson. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on June 17, 1954, the son of John and Phyllis Gilbert. He was retired from the United States Navy and from Veterans Affairs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and collecting coins.
Janie and Gregory are survived by their children; Scott Akers of Fishers, Angela (Cordell Ford) Gilbert of Chesterfield, and Gregory Gilbert of Anderson; three grandchildren, Cooper, Gabrielle and Kennedy Akers; Gregory's siblings, John Gilbert, Doris Davidson and Sandy Tetrault and Janie's siblings, Stephen Randolph and Diana Delph and many nieces and nephews.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jeff Randolph. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents.
A joint celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with military rites.
