Inez R. (Ramsey) Meade, 94, of New Bedford died March 4, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Irving L. Meade.
Born and raised in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Edrick F. and Florence E.M. (Coblins) Ramsey, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was Past Matron of J.W. Hood Chapter 12 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son, Bradford Meade of New Bedford; a granddaughter, Attica Meade; 2 great-grandchildren, Duwan Meade and Demetrius Meade; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Leslie Meade and the sister of the late Cleone Taylor, Robert Ramsey, Averick Bates, Edna Barboza, Irma Forster, Edrick Ramsey, Jr. and Aloyse Allen.
Her visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 7th from 2-4 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 8th at 11 AM in the funeral home followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
