Obituary




Worcester – Stephen Vincent Ardito, 63, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by his wife, son, and daughter.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Brenda M. (Richard) Ardito; his two children, Karthik A. Ardito of Worcester, Tulsi Morgan-Grace Ardito of Highland, MI and his mother and father in law whom he thought of as his own parents, Alfred and Alberta Richard of Jefferson, MA; a Sister in Law, Ellen Richard-Clark and her husband, Thomas of Edgewater, FL; his Godchildren, Ajay Clark of Orlando, FL, Kyra Clark of Atlanta, GA, and Jennifer Stearns of North Carolina and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Stephen was born in Worcester, son of the late Stephen and Antoinette (DeFeudis) Ardito and is also predeceased by a sister, Nanette Pearson. He grew up in the Plantation Street neighborhood of Worcester and graduated from North High School.

Stephen has worked for over 15 years with Foxy Travel as a luxury motor coach driver, he previously worked for North American Van Lines and David Clark Company.

Steve was a generous caring soul that was always willing to lend a helping hand, without complaints with a heartfelt humble smile. Steve was a family man at heart, there was nothing better to him than spending time with those he loved at home. He thoroughly enjoyed cooking with and for his family and friends, especially on the Holidays. Steve gave his children, Karthik and Tulsi the passion of cooking and teaching them Italian recipes that will be passed down for generations.

Stephen also enjoyed sports and was a fan of all the Boston Sports Teams. He would often take time to go fresh and deep-sea fishing, traveling with his family and playing Pokemon Go with his son, Karthik. Steve took great enjoyment in driving his luxury motor coach for Foxy Travel, and loved spending time with all of his friends.

His cousin, Rev. Charles Monroe will be the celebrant of a private Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date due to the COVID virus.
