Nashim P. “Nash” Joseph, 63, of Worcester died Wednesday, March 3rd at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his spouse, Ann (Stevens) Joseph of Worcester; two daughters, Nicole R. Cushman and her husband Timothy of Fremont, New Hampshire, Stephanie R. Ranellone and her husband Raymond of North Brookfield MA; three grandchildren, Gabriella and Francesca Ranellone and Jackson Nash Cushman. He was predeceased by his father, Herbert Joseph; his mother, Winifred Joseph; his sister, Louise Bois and her infant son, William Bois.
Nash worked in the computer field for over 40 years as a field service engineer for Digital, Compaq, Hewlett Packard and Unisys.
Nash and Ann had many good times together, traveling the East Coast from Canada to Florida, whether it was for visiting family or quality time together. Nash enjoyed hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, participating in motorcycle charity runs or just simple motorcycle rides to explore, or go to Meola’s for strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Nash loved spending time with his daughters and their families. His grandchildren always put a smile on his face and added much joy to his life. Nash was a strong, caring man who loved his family and friends. These qualities endeared him to everyone he met.
“In life, it’s not where you go, it’s who you travel with”. We’re blessed to have had Nash traveling with us through our journey.
Calling hours are Saturday, March 6th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
