Carras, John “Jack” peacefully passed away away at 3:30 pm on Monday feb 22nd at the age of 92 years old raised in the South End.
Loving son of William Carras and Delia powers. Loving and caring husband of Ruth C. Carras, proud father of John Carras, and proud grandfather of Christopher Carras.
Loving brother to James Carras of Quincy, Ernie Carras of Roxbury, Thomas Carras of South Boston, Helen McCormick of South Boston, and Mable Barry of South Boston. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
John lived and raised his family in Hyde park for 40 years and worked as a mail carrier for 35 years in Jamaica Plain. Jack’s favorite things to do were be with family and hang out down castle island and hang out with his friends outside of the rink in South Boston.
