WEST SPRINGFIELD – Markiyan Yuzych, 18, of West Springfield, was Called Home on Sunday, February 28, 2021. He passed into Eternal Life on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Holyoke suddenly after a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Lviv, Ukraine on November 7, 2002, the beloved son of Oleg and Nataliya (Manzyuk) Yuzych of West Springfield. He was currently a Senior at Dean Vocational High School in Holyoke where he was a passionate student and mechanically inclined. He worked part-time at Domino’s Pizza in Holyoke and had previously worked at Six Flags New England in Agawam. He was a member of LifePoint Church in Chicopee. An avid automotive and motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. In addition to his beloved parents, he leaves his loving sister, Yana Yuzych of West Springfield; his loving grandparents, Mykhaylo and Iryna Yuzych and Pavlo and Tatyana Manzyuk, all of Ukraine; his two dear uncles and aunts, Svyatoslav and Anna Yuzych of Russia and Rostyslav and Ludmila Manzyuk of Ukraine; his best friend, Owen Nieves of Holyoke; and his many dear cousins, extended family members and friends. He will also be missed by his beloved canine companion, Bones. His relatives and friends are invited to a visiting hour on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. which will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
