Christopher M. Vassalotti, age 31, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Attleboro, MA on July 20, 1989, he was a loving son of Joseph R. Vassalotti, III of Seekonk and the late Mary Reeves.
Chris grew up in Mansfield and Norton and was a 2007 graduate of Norton High School. He was a talented cabinet maker, working at South Shore Millwork in Norton and had previously been employed at Beacon Millwork in Bourne.
Chris was an extremely smart young man who loved spending time with family and friends alike. He loved the great outdoors which included fishing, boating, camping and riding dirt bikes. He was also a movie buff and enjoyed playing board games, reading and when younger was very knowledgeable on the subject of History.
In addition to his father, he was the devoted brother Joseph R. Vassalotti, IV and his wife Amy of Taunton and Amy Reeves of Norton. He was the adoring and doting uncle of Rocco, Angelina and Luca. He was the cherished nephew of Dennis Vassalotti, Sr. and his longtime companion Denise Rancourt of Norton, Barbara Maxwell of Mansfield, Vicki Reed and her husband Dan of Raynham and Kathy Walsh of Foxboro. He was pre-deceased by his loving grandparents.
Relatives and friends are cordially to attend visiting hours on Saturday, March 6th from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
At the conclusion of visitation at 5:00 P.M., reflections of Christopher’s life will be shared by members of his family and friends at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Chris’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to a rehabilitation program of one’s choice.
