Ann M. (McMenamy) Cirelli, 77, of Plymouth and formerly of Brockton died Monday March 1, 2021 at the Residence at Five Corners, N. Easton. She was the wife of the late George A. Cirelli, her husband for 43 years.
Born in Brockton, Ann was the daughter of the late Louis and Lorraine (Billadeau) McMenamy. Upon graduation from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1962, she continued her education in Boston at John Robert Powers Secretarial School. Before retiring, she had worked for Amica Insurance, Real Estate Sales and for many years at Filene’s/Macy’s in Braintree and Hanover, specializing in fragrances and furniture.
Through the years she lived in Plymouth, Ann was active with her parish church, St. Peters. She was a member of the choir and a Eucharistic minister as well.
Ann is survived by her two sons, David T. Cirelli of Plymouth and Peter M. Cirelli and his wife Bridget of Simsbury, CT. They have four children Mia, Eliza, Abbey and Colin. Each one of them was the apple of Ann’s eyes.
Ann leaves six siblings in the area, Kathleen Avery of Brockton, Lawrence McMenamy of Boston, Maureen Fahey of Middleboro, Richard McMenamy of Walpole, David McMenamy of E. Falmouth and Dennis McMenamy of N. Easton. She was the sister of the late Louis McMenamy of Waquoit and Patricia McMenamy of Brockton. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday March 4, 2021 from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Friday at 10:30 am with burial in Calvary Cemetery. In following COVID guidelines masks must be worn and social distancing observed in the funeral and church. There is a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at any one time.
