Walter F. Reddington Jr.
July 30, 1930 ~ January 29, 2021 (age 90)
Walter F., 90 of Canton, MA, passed peacefully on, January 29, 2021. Mr. Reddington was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Anna M. Reddington (Sampson). Father to Walter F. Reddington III and his late wife Adele of Hopkinton, Kim Curtin of Braintree, and Beth Reddington and her husband Ronnie Schneiderhan of Weymouth. Brother to the late John (Jackie) Reddington of Braintree. Walter is also survived by his 5 grandchildren Heather, Ashley, Jozeph, Andrew, and Brady and his 4 great grandchildren Julianna, Charlie, Emerson, and Reagan.
Walter was born and raised in Dorchester and attended Dorchester High School for Boys. He eventually moved to Randolph where he and his wife raised their 3 children. He was a retired Local 25 Teamster truck driver and a graduate of Bridgewater State College. Walter and his wife enjoyed camping many summers in New Hampshire and Wareham.
Walter was an avid car enthusiast. He loved a clean car in and out. He could fix or build just about anything. Walter also enjoyed walking over at Castle Island or Pope John Paul Park. He knew someone everywhere he went.
Per Walter’s request, there will be no services held.
