Robert Gale "Bull" Tyler, 57, of New Castle, died from injuries sustained from work.
He was born April 11, 1963, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the son of John Cox and Bea (Dame) Tyler.
He was a heavy equipment operator with Local 103 for 18 years. He was previously employed at Phillips Iron and Metal and Prime Battery.
Robert loved to be outside and loved to work on his 1966 Chevy Truck that he spent 23 years rebuilding. He and Michelle enjoyed taking the truck to car shows and parades. Robert loved music, his job and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Tyler of New Castle, whom he married April 7, 2018; four children, Desira (Joseph) Thomas, Robert S. (Jennifer) Tyler, Jessy (Elizabeth) Tyler and John (Lauren) Tyler; two step-sons, Jordan (Cassie) Keck and Jarren Keck; ten grandchildren, McKayla Thomas, Austin Thomas, Madison Tyler, Piper Kaylor, Nova Tyler, Stephenie Buck-Vetor, Autumn Tyler, Malachi Tyler, Waylon Tyler and Alistair Keck; sister, Cindy Tyler and someone who has been like a sister, Laura Porter; mother-in-law, Karen Coppock, brother-in-law, Jeff (Anita) Coppock; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that loved him very much and a close friend, Dan Oonjai.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie Dame, father-in-law, Dennis Coppock and Uncle, Paul Stittums.
Services will be 10 A.M. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ben Brandt of Mt. Summit Christian Church officiating.
Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
