Charisse Brittle Powell of South Easton, Boston Police Detective passed away on February 28, 2021 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Courtney Powell. BPD. Devoted mother of Sabrina Brittle and Jordan Powell. Loving daughter of Barbara Snuggs and Wilbur Brittle. Sister of Warren, Anthony, Rhadijah, Bethel, Khadijah, Laquanta and Christan.
The family will receive visitors at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale on Wednesday, March 3rd from 4 to 8 pm. A private funeral service will be held at Greater Love Tabernacle Church, 101 Nightingale Street, Boston.
Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave., Hyde Park.
Charisse graduated from Boston High School in 1990 with a full 4 year scholarship to Boston University, where she got her bachelor degree in Psychology. She later obtained her masters degree in criminal justice administration from Western New England. Detective Brittle-Powell was a 27 year veteran of the BPD. The Zoom ID is for the funeral service.

All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter.
All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
