Patricia A. (Brownell) Stowell, 84, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick G. Wilson, Sr. and the late George W. Stowell, Sr.
Mrs. Stowell was born in Gardner, MA and had resided in Westport for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a social worker for the Commonwealth of MA in the Department of Transitional Assistance. She was a member of the Salvation Army Band and the Dartmouth VFW Post 9059. She loved horses.
Survivors include her son: George W. Stowell, Jr. and his companion Angela Person of Coventry, RI; her brother: David Brownell and his wife Joan of RI; her sister: Edith Babineau of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren: Katy Tyner and her husband Paul, Justin Wilson, George W. Stowell III, Mackenzie Stowell and Lena Stowell; great grandson: Joshua Bumpus; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Frederick G. Wilson, Jr. and sister of the late John Brownell.
