LOWELL Efthalia Lita (Fleri) Kelly, 68, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was the wife of Paul F. Kelly, married in 1980.
She was born on February 18, 1953, in Athens, Greece, she was a daughter of Alexander Fleri and Katherine Fleri-Cassidy. At a young age her and her family relocated to Wales. She grew up and was educated in Wales, and she worked in health care. She moved to the United States in 1976. She took some courses at the Lowell Technical School to transfer her certification to the United States. She worked as a pharmacist, and then as a nurse in various local nursing homes. She loved art, and found coloring the best way to express herself, in her younger days her passion was the ballet.
Besides her husband, Paul, she is survived by her son, Phillip Kelly of Lowell; her siblings, George Fleri, and Rachel Fleri of England, and Tommy Cassidy of Lowell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her good friend, and family nurse practitioner, Catherine Elie.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no calling hours. A celebration will be planned at a later date.
