Taishon Skinner of Roxbury passed away on February 24, 2021.Taishon Nicole Skinner transitioned peacefully in the arms of her loving mother Nikki Seymour. Taishon was preceded in death by her beloved great grandmothers Arlene J. Owens and Mary E. Seymour, her grandmother Belinda Skinner and her uncle Derric Skinner.
Taishon Nicole Skinner, known affectionately as "Titi", was born on July 31, 1994 in Boston, Ma. In her 26 years of life, Titi positively impacted and was a light in many, many peoples lives. She attended Dover Public Schools through the METCO program. Upon graduation Titi attended college at Mt. Ida before transferring to RCC. Titi was outgoing and enjoyed working and being in environments where she was able to interact freely with others. Where she was able to be herself. Titi was ambitious and hoped to accomplish many things for herself. She knew who she was, what she wanted and what she liked. Not even the sky would have been her limit.
Titi's smile lit up a room, it was unwavering, infectious and warm. It came with a greeting, a good-bye or slyly at the end of a joke... usually about you. Titi loved cheerleading, a perfect sport for her vibrant spirit. Titi loved her family. She enjoyed being around her family, great food, her grandma Carol's cooking and hanging out with her friends. Titi was always one call away and never passed on an opportunity to make a pop-up visit when she was in the area and you were just on her mind.
There was no greater sister than Titi. She adored her siblings, always speaking lovingly onto and of them. Titi spoke fast and animated. She used her hands and facial expressions to get her point across. She was playful.... Titi never walked. She skipped her way through life. She was small but mighty. Her energetic presence was often felt first before she was seen.
She leaves to cherish her memory her doting mother Nikki, her sisters Tahnai, and Tiani Sanders and her loyal dog Cash; her siblings Rashawn Knight, Karon Richards, Anthony D. Skinner and her sisters Ashiaah and Z'Nya Skinner. Taishon also leaves her maternal grandparents, William J. Owens and Carolyn Seymour as well as a host of adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, host of nieces, nephewws, cousins and friends.
