In loving memory of John Joseph Conneely, 73, of Plainville died peacefully on February 25, 2021 in Franklin.
Born in Galway, Ireland April 19, 1947, the son of the late Patrick and Katherine (Duggan ) Conneely , he remained in Ireland until 1973 when he came to United States.
John was passionate about music his entire life. He was a trained and talented musician and he was very highly regarded in the local Irish community and in Ireland. He was well versed in many instruments, particularly the accordion.
John had also been employed by the Hollingsworth & Vose Company in East Walpole for almost thirty years.
John was a compassionate and loving father, brother and uncle.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Erin Conneely Selden of Franklin , and his son, Sean Conneely of Walpole.
He is also remembered by his cherished sisters, Mary Conneely Kelly, Judy Conneely Duggan, Brid Conneely Devine, brother Michael Conneely, and many nieces and nephews, of Ireland and England.
Services for John will be held at a later date in Ireland.
