SPRINGFIELD ~ Robert Michael Crochiere, 18, of the Forest Park Heights section of Springfield, was Called Home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from Baystate Medical Center in Springfield as the result of a tragic incident. He was born in Holyoke on October 19, 2002, a beloved son of Michael W. Crochiere and Carolyn M. Nimchick. He was raised in Chester where he attended Gateway Regional Schools and later moved to Granby. Robert loved to play soccer and basketball with his many friends. He also enjoyed playing his X-Box and listening to music. He leaves his beloved parents, Michael W. Crochiere and his fiancée, Michele Mastroianni, of Granby and Carolyn M. Nimchick and her partner, Sonny Fiega, of Springfield; his beloved birth parents, Roberto Sanchez and his partner, Angie Caballero, of Springfield and Dimaris Pacheco and her partner, Keith Thomas, of Springfield; his two loving sisters, Deishanet Marie Crochiere of Granby and Lizmarie Sanchez of Springfield; his three loving brothers, David Alvarez, Christian Alvarez and Jayceon Sanchez, all of Springfield; and his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for a WALK-THRU Visitation on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home.
