FALL RIVER – Urania (Paulino) Medeiros, age 84 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at Fall River Healthcare. Born in São Miguel, Açores, Urania was the daughter of the late Manuel Paulino and the late Beatriz (Carvalho) Paulino, and the spouse of the late Jose J. Medeiros.
Survivors include her daughter: Dorothy Pacheco (husband John) of Fall River and her son: Mario Medeiros of Fall River; eight grandchildren: Jessica DaSilva (husband Derrick), Lindsey Pacheco, Jared Pacheco, Aliyah Milch, David Bourgeois (wife Jessica), Stevi-Lyn Bourgeois, Stefanie Bourgeois, and Tanisha Bertrand; fifteen great grandchildren; and several cousins.
Urania was also the mother of the late Natalie Medeiros, Maria F. Hyson-Vendituoli, John Medeiros, and Jose Medeiros.
Visitation for Urania will take place on Friday, Feb. 26th from 8:30 -10:00 A.M. followed by a Service at 10:00 A.M. in the Manual Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. To send the family expressions of sympathy, please to www.rogersfuneral.com.
