Millbury – Ruth E. (Connor) Wagher, 91, of Millbury passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Mrs. Wagher was married for 58 years to the late Ralph J. Wagher, who died in 2006. She is survived by her two daughters, Renee Rice of Shrewsbury and Rhonda Karlon and her husband, Michael of Millbury; a son, Richard Wagher of Worcester; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Nelson) Repekta and her husband, Nick, Matthew Karlon, Brian Nelson, Christopher Rice and his wife, Tara and Dr. Amanda (Rice) Clark and her husband, Michael; 6 great grandchildren, Robyn and Janie Repekta, Evan and Finnigan Rice and Karen and Nora Clark and many nephews and nieces.
Ruth was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas Connor and Margaret (Holland) Connor Lopresti and is also predeceased by two daughters, Robin Wagher Nelson and Roxanne Wagher; two brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Wagher enjoyed sewing and crocheting, but she was truly the happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she cherished with all of her heart.
A private burial will take place on Ruth’s favorite holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Wagher may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children – Springfield, Development Office 516 Carew Street Springfield, MA 01104.
