Alice A. Faucher, 80 of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday February 16, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on March 10, 1940 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Morrissette) LaPlante. Alice had been a Londonderry resident for 60 years, formerly of Manchester. She was employed as a Cafeteria Manager at Matthew Thornton Elementary School in Londonderry for 22 years. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid sports fan of all the New England sports teams. But nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family and friends, from football Sundays to the yearly 4th of July party and beach vacations.
Alice is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roger L. Faucher of Londonderry, three children: Normand Faucher and his wife Denise of Londonderry, David Faucher and his wife Sally of Londonderry, Diane Swanson and her husband Frank of Londonderry. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Shawn, Stephanie, Karen, Normand, Michael and Joshua, four great grandchildren: Jayden, Barrett, August, Wynter and two step great grandchildren: Dylan and Lucas, her brother Roger LaPlante and his wife Jeannette of Manchester, her sister, Rita Fortin of Londonderry, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Michael Faucher.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 2 to 5 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude Parish, Londonderry with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact, and maintain social distancing. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a celebration of life will be done at a later date.
