Yoshiko Colman, age 85 of Brockton, died Sunday February 14, 2021 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was born and raised in Naha, Okinawa a daughter of the late Gishu Ngamine and Uto Tanahara and had lived in Brockton since 1961.
Yoshiko had worked for over forty years at Alden Products in Brockton. She loved cooking for her family and most importantly spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Yoshiko was the loving mother of Katherine Giovanni and her husband John of Brockton, John Colman and his wife Tara of St. Joseph, Missouri and the late Evelyn McGrath. She was the grandmother of Megan Quinn and her husband James and Ryan Colman and great grandmother of Jayden and Jordyn Colman and Ava and Evan Quinn. She also leaves her nephew Yoshio Nagamine and his wife Tusuneko, two great nieces Yukari Maezato and husband Yoshitaka and Ryoko Nagamine, two great nephews Yoshitugu Nagamine and wife Kaori and Yoshinao Nagamine and wife Retsuko all of Okinawa.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Friday from 2-5pm. In following COVID guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing observed. There is a maximum of 40 people in the funeral home at any time.
