Charles Leland "Chuck/Pa" Clevenger, Jr. died February 15, 2021 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
Chuck was born July 23, 1951, in Muncie, IN the son of Charles Leland and Elizabeth Jane (Brown) Clevenger, Sr. He graduated in 1969 from Daleville High School.
He worked quality control at Warner Gear for 39 years before retiring in 2009.
Chuck was a member of Anderson Corvette Association; Piston Poppers and B.B.C. His high school graduating class of 1969 was lifelong friends and family. He loved his kids and grandkids. He liked bowling, bird watching and taking care of animals.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia "Jenny" Clevenger whom he married January 19, 1980; his mother, Jane Clevenger of Yorktown; four children, Laura (Matt) Eldridge of Pendleton, Chad (Chrissy) Clevenger of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Eric (Stacey) Holtzleiter of Anderson and S. Nicole Clevenger of Smyrna Tennessee; six grandchildren, Tremor Bynum, Gator Bynum, Mattee Eldridge, Marlie Holtzleiter, Morgan Holtzleiter and Erika Holtzleiter; his brother, Bruce (Karen) Clevenger of Yorktown, several extended family and close friends and his dog, JoJo.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister, Sherry Lynn Clevenger.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Jay Harvey officiating. A private burial will take place at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 11 am until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
