Worcester: Rose (Robinson) Johnston, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves 4 daughters- Diane M. Ashmore, Michelle R. Johnston, Phyllis D. Laura, and Christine Johnston; a son- Stephen C. Johnston; 3 sisters- Anne English, Pearle Dwight, and Irene Robinson; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Johnston and by 3 children- Paul E. Johnston, Cheryl E. Johnston, and Lisa A. Johnston; and by 8 siblings- Carrie Brayles, Evelyn Gamble, Marie Robinson, Dorothy Baldwin, Robert Robinson, George Robinson, Helen Robinson, and Daisy Brown. Her partner of over 50 years Milton Price also predeceased her.
Rose was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Vernella (Miller) Robinson. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a daycare provider for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, dancing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
